To commemorate the International year of Quantum science and technology-2025, the Department of Physics conducted a KSCSTE sponsored two day state level seminar on quantum sciences and technology on 18th & 19th December 2025. On the first day, the invited speaker Dr. Moncy V John, former HOD Department of Physics, St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry addressed the participants on the topic Quantum Reality. He elaborated the evolution of quantum sciences, quantum entanglement, philosophical aspects of quantum theory and future scopes. On the second Day our invited speaker Dr. Kiran Mathew, Assistant professor, Department of Physics, Pavanatma college, Murickassery demonstrated uncertainty principle, double slit experiment, superposition, entanglement etc. The lectures were highly informative and our students benefitted from it. Dr. Arthur Varghese served as the Convenor for the programme.
