International Biodiversity Day, May 22,2024, was celebrated as Planting Day of Orchids by the Department of Botany as part of the Collaboration with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, UK on orchid conservation. The planting was inaugurated by college principal Dr. George K. Alex on the campus trees. About 40 students, research scholars, teachers and non teaching staff participated in the programme.
