Botany department offers BSc, MSc and PhD programmes in Botany and certificate course on mushroom cultivation. A student centric department is nurtured by well qualified 5 permanent faculty. The department offers ample opportunities for holistic development of students to establish their careers in plant sciences. We have made significant contributions in research by discovery of new fungal and plant species. Dept. has to its credit international collaborations with Royal Botanic Gardens(UK) & New York Botanical garden(USA).We foster a strong alumni relationship.
