This year the Department of Physics initiated a 'Student Lecture Series ' with an objective to update students about the current events in the field of Physics, to improve and enhance presentation skills and to encourage them to take up more interesting such initiatives. The first session of this lecture series was conducted by our DC1 student Abhinav Pradeep on 18th October 2025 via Google Meet. Abhinav delivered his lecture on the topic " Microscopic Quantum Phenomena - The 2025 Nobel Breakthrough" marking a new beginning to our new initiative, where he discussed on the recent 2025 Nobel prize in Physics. Dr. Jijoy P Mathew served as the Convenor for the programme.
